Cherie Dee Hyman, 77, of Van Buren passed away Sunday, Dec. 3, 2017, at a local nursing home. She was retired from Hobby Lobby in Fort Smith and a member of Grand Avenue Baptist Church in Fort Smith. She was preceded in death by her former husband, Gene Anderson; and both her parents, David Elwood Lindsay and Josephine Glenn.

She is survived by her husband, Clint of the home; five sons, Randy Anderson of Bella Vista, Ark., Jesse and his wife Debra Anderson of Greenwood, Rodney Dean Anderson of Oklahoma, Fred Lee Hyman of Fort Smith and Stanley and his wife Amy Hyman of Dyersburg, Tenn.; one sister, Lona Sims of Eagle Point, Ore.; three grandsons, Adam Anderson, Matthew Langley and Justin Anderson; and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral service will be 10 a.m. Wednesday at Ocker Memorial Chapel in Van Buren with burial at Dripping Springs Cemetery in Cedarville under the direction of Ocker Funeral Home in Van Buren.

Pallbearers will be Randy Anderson, Jesse Anderson, Rodney Anderson, Adam Anderson, Matthew Langley and Justin Anderson.
