William “Boogie” Sills, 58, of Alma passed away on Wednesday, Sept. 13, 2017. He was a commercial fisherman and of the Pentecostal faith. He was born Sept. 6, 1959, in Russellville and preceded in death by his father, Douglas E. Sills. He liked fishing, hunting and collecting arrowheads.

Survivors include his mother, Melba A. Sills of Alma; four sisters, Betty Wiggins of Van Buren, Beverly Smith of Mountainburg and Suzy Blevins and Jeannie Stevens, both of Kibler; and one brother, Dannie Sills of Van Buren.

Funeral service will be 10 a.m. Monday at Ocker Chapel of Alma. Interment will be at 2 p.m. at Durvin Cemetery in Yell County, Ark. Services are under the direction of Ocker Funeral Home of Alma.

Pallbearers will be Jamie and Tyler Blevins, John Riddle, Tony Jordan, Jerry Remmer and Tannor Davis.

Honorary pallbearers will be Larry Blevins, Wayne Mitchell, Les Wilson and Rick Little.
