Betty L. Rudell Studer, 96, of Van Buren died July 4, 2017, in Little Rock. She was born June 1, 1921, in Fort Smith. She was retired from the U.S. Postal Service and was a member of Cumberland Presbyterian Church, where she has served as organist for the past 25 years. Shewas a 75-year member of the Harmony and Barling Chapters of Order of Eastern Star, where she served as past worthy matron. She also served as past royal matron and past grand royal matron of Order of Amaranth and was past queen of Daughters of the Nile. She was the widow of John Rudell and Robert Studer.

She is survived by a daughter, Donna Bailey of Little Rock; a son, James Rudell of Van Buren; four grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.

Funeral was July 7 at Cumberland Presbyterian of Fort Smith with burial at Roselawn Cemetery under the direction of Edwards Funeral Home.
