James Everett Taylor Jr., 59, of Van Buren died Thursday, June 15, 2017, at his home. He was born July 9, 1957 in Van Buren to the late James E. “Red” and Gurtie Taylor. He was the retired owner and operator of TNT Express in Van Buren and Army veteran of the Vietnam War.

He is survived by a daughter, Melissa Lawson of Talbott, Tenn.; six sisters, Janice Hagler of Panama, Okla., JoAnn Morgan of Atlanta, Diane Crims of Mountainburg and Wanda Gragg, Linda Marston and Patsy Ellifritz, all of Van Buren; and a brother, Dennis Taylor of Van Buren.

Graveside service was June 19 at Gill Cemetery in Van Buren under the direction of Edwards Van-Alma Funeral Home of Van Buren.

Pallbearers were Dennis Taylor, Calvin Crims, Bobby Bentley, Wanda Gragg, Dixie Bolin and Adam Ervin.
