Ardy “Pappy” Lee Morton, 65, of Mountainburg passed away on Wednesday, March 22, 2017, at a local hospital. He was a retired self-employed master plumber who worked for 40 years, a songwriter and musician and a friend to all. He was born Oct. 19, 1951, in Van Buren to the late Howard L. and Mamie Norene (Bailey) Morton. He was also preceded in death by a son, Zachary Lynn Morton; and a brother, Gary Morton.

Survivors include his wife, Kathy Morton of the home; two daughters, Lea Renee Jackson and husband Jeremiah of Mountainburg and Hailey Jo Morton and Jessup Quinalty of Mountainburg; one brother, Ronnie Morton of Rudy; and three grandchildren, Jaden, Bryson and Adilynn.

Funeral service will be 2 p.m. Monday at the Conley Cemetery pavilion in Mountainburg under the direction of Ocker Funeral Home of Alma.

Pallbearers will be Jeremiah Jackson, Jessup Quinalty, Jeff Kerr, Nick Goff, Jayson Arendall, Kane Yones and Mickey Yones.

Honorary pallbearers will be Thomas Yones, Gary Smith, Wes Parker, Carl Montgomery, Steve Huffor and Tony Sill.
