Ruby Wynelle (Drawhorn) Hale, 84, of Alma passed away on Sunday, March 12, 2017, at a local hospital. She was a homemaker, former innkeeper and member of the Alma Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses. She was born Oct. 29, 1932, in Lizella, Ga., to the late Thomas and Amanda (Dykes) Drawhorn. She also was preceded in death by her husband, Ace Grant Hale.

Memorial service will be 2 p.m. Saturday at Alma Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses near Dyer. Cremation is under the direction of Ocker Funeral Home of Alma.

Survivors include one daughter, Lynne Hale Chamblee of Alma; two sons, David W. Hale of Alma and Jon K. Hale of Portland, Ore.; one brother, Ralph Drawhorn of Buford, Ga.; five granddaughters, Amanda Slates of Alma, Elizabeth Wakefield of Columbia, S.C., Deborah Graver of Olympia, Wash., and Mirabelle Hale and Olivia Hale, both of Portland, Ore.; and six great-grandchildren, Rylee, Avery, Erich, Madeleine, Briton and Declan.
