Close to 30 food vendors already are confirmed for the annual Taste of Crawford County, a fundraiser for Court Appointed Special Advocates of Crawford County.
The event will be held Tuesday, Aug. 13, in the Commons at Van Buren High School. Two sessions are scheduled – 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. and 5 to 7 p.m.
Confirmed food vendors Sisters Gourmet Bistro, Goody’s, Platinum Distributing, CV’s Family Foods, Organo Gold Coffee, Chick-fil-A, Brother’s Cafe, Little Caesars, Pizza Parlour, La Fiesta, Confectionately Yours, Zaxby’s, G-Fit, La Huerta, Craig’s Bakery, Alma Wellness Center, Molly’s Egg Rolls, Garner Abattoir, CrawPappy’s, Hawg Pen BBQ, Firehouse Subs, Cadillac Grill, Swamp Mama’s, Jerky Shack, Catered by STIR, Frank’s Italian Restaurant and Bob Evans.
Tickets are on sale now for the event which also benefits the Boys and Girls Clubs of Van Buren and Alma.
Tickets for Taste of Crawford will be $10 until Aug. 5; $15 at the door.
They are available at the Crawford County Adult Education Center, Van Buren Chamber of Commerce, Van Buren Boys and Girls Club, Delta Investments and from any CASA board member.
Non-food vendors include Horace Mann, Carl Albert State College, Arkansas Tech University - Ozark Campus, Rodan and Fields Dermatologists, Sam’s Club, Kiwanis Club of Van Buren, Hamilton House, Turf Pro, Sugar Creek Pony Parties, Fort Smith Children’s Emergency Shelter, Echoes of the Children and Poindexter’s Computers.
A silent auction also will be featured.
Items already include a youth deer hunt, two-bedroom condo in Branson, Mo., for one week, one night at a bed and breakfast in Eureka Springs, two-hour limo ride, autographed Mickey Mantel photograph, basket of auto care products and Felix Jones signed helmet and jersey.
