In the 21st Judicial District Circuit Court in Van Buren Oct. 9, Judge Gary R. Cottrell heard pleas and sentenced the following:

• John Allen Inklebarger, 32, of Charleston pleaded guilty to possession of hydrocodone, possession of Roxicodone and possession of Alprazolam and was sentenced to six months in the Arkansas Department of Correction with credit for six months served to be followed by a five-year suspended prison sentence. His driver’s license was suspended for six months.

• Billy James Freeman, 36, of Van Buren pleaded guilty to delivery of oxycodone and was placed in the drug court program. He will be on three years probation, submit to DNA sampling and pay the $250 fee and $125 drug task force fee. A $3,500 fine, $170 court costs and $300 of a $600 drug court fee were suspended on the condition he completes the drug court program. His driver’s license was suspended for six months.

In the 21st Judicial District Circuit Court in Van Buren Oct. 11, Judge Gary R. Cottrell heard pleas and sentenced the following:

• Matthew Brandon Spradley, 34, of Van Buren pleaded guilty to eight counts of theft of property - firearm and was placed on three years probation. He will pay $985 restitution, $1,000 fine, $170 court costs and $250 fee for DNA sampling, complete inpatient treatment at Hearts of Hope and have no offensive contact with the victims.
