Cedarville School District will host Celebrate Freedom Day on Friday, Sept. 28, beginning at 9 a.m.
State Rep. Charlene Fite as well as other guests will speak at the event.
The Army National Guard will bring vehicles for Cedarville students to see.
“All of our students will be wearing red, white and blue,” said Cedarville Elementary School Principal Rebecca Reed, who organizes the district event each year.
Celebrate Freedom Day events are expected to last about two hours, Reed said.
Cedarville School District also will host a Veteran’s Day Celebration at 10 a.m. Nov. 9.
“We will recognize veterans from our community,” Reed said. “A free lunch will be served to our veterans at 11 a.m.”
