Organizers for the Fall Festival set for Oct. 13-15 in historic downtown Van Buren have confirmed three of the event entertainers.
Cheyenne, a country music band from Seligman, Mo., will perform 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Saturday on Stage 9. Also on Saturday, in Freedom Park, Ryan Chisolm will perform 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. and Mike Walker will perform 3 to 5 p.m.
On Sunday, Ryan Chisolm will be on Stage 9 from 2 to 4 p.m. and Mike Walker in Freedom Park from 2 to 4 p.m.
Concerts are planned for 7 p.m. Friday and Saturday as well as entertainment during the day on Saturday and Sunday. Additional entertainers are being lined up for the festival.
More than 200 exhibitors will display fine artwork, handcrafted items, antiques and collectibles at the Fall Festival, which is sponsored by the Old Town Merchants Association.
Arts and crafts lovers will have a feast for the eyes with booths full of artwork, handmade items and antiques. Food vendors will be on hand with a variety of foods such as funnel cakes, corn dogs and sandwiches.
Vendor booths will be open from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. Saturday and 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Sunday, rain or shine, and will be lined up from the Crawford County Courthouse to the train depot.
For the children there will be face painting and bounce houses, as well as kid-centered vendors selling everything from hair bows to clothing to wooden toys.
There also will be a carnival on Webster Street Friday night, Saturday and Sunday.
