Downtown Van Buren will hosts its annual spring festival, Old Timers Day, May 19-21.

Sponsored by The Old Town Merchants Association, the annual festival will feature more than 100 arts and crafts booths along historic Main Street. A variety of food, including the downtown restaurants, and entertainment will be available.

Activity gets underway Friday evening with a carnival in the parking lot on Webster Street.

The street fair opens at 9 a.m. May 20 when Main Street becomes lined with arts and crafts and vendor tents. Traffic is closed to allow pedestrians to take the sidewalk or street from the Crawford County Courthouse to the Frisco depot.

A wide variety of art, clothing, jewelry, wood carvings and unique merchandise will be offered. Hundreds of exhibitors from more than seven states will sell their wares.

Local merchants of antiques, art, collectibles and clothing also will be open.

Saturday will include the second annual Lip Sync Battle at 7 p.m. on an outdoor stage.

Saturday hours are 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. with Old Timers Day continuing May 21 from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Admission is free.
