Catch holiday spirit at the library

The Fort Smith Public Library will hold its "The Perfect Gift: Library Books for Christmas" fundraiser Saturday through Dec. 31 at all library locations. Patrons can donate $10 for children's books or $25 for adult books and have the book added to the library collection in honor of or in memory of someone special.

Also, the annual community outreach Fort Smith Public Library Holiday Food Drive continues throughout the rest of November and all of December at all Fort Smith Public Library locations. Simply bring nonperishable food donations to any Fort Smith library location. Donations will be accepted all hours the libraries are open, and the food will be taken to the Community Clearinghouse to help the hungry in the Fort Smith area.
