"All or Nothing," a new exhibit on display Saturday through May 28 at Crystal Bridges Museum of American Art, 600 Museum Way in Bentonville, focuses on how artmaking often begins in the simplest way: a black mark on a white sheet of paper or canvas. Featuring artwork from the museum's collection in several media dating from 1860 to today, the exhibit explores and contrasts black and white elements to convey composition and spatial relationships. This exhibit features 55 pieces on display in the museum's gallery bridge.

Also at Crystal Bridges, the "State of the Art" exhibit will continue through Jan. 19. This exhibit features artwork from more than 102 artists and includes works on canvas and paper, photography, video, performance art and installations.
